Club History
Chiltern Canoe Group was formed in 2008 by a small group of friends to provide an opportunity to paddle on a regular basis in an informal, friendly environment. Some activities are based around weekly sessions at the RAF Halton swimming pool and Tring Swimming Pool but we include trips to various rivers around the country. Members are interested in white water kayaking, sea kayaking, open canoeing and kayak surfing and anything else that can be paddled so all these disciplines of the sport are catered for and encouraged well. In 2011 the Group decided to form a British Canoeing affiliated club and so in March 2011 the name was changed to Chiltern Canoe Club.
